🇵🇹 Portugal Cell Bounties Are Live — Deploy a Station and Earn Up to 10× Rewards
WeatherXM is launching the first-ever Cell Bounties, and we’re kicking things off exclusively in Portugal. These new incentives are designed to encourage high-quality deployments in key locations — and if you’re in one of the targeted areas, this is your moment to get involved early.
🔥 What Makes This Special?
To jump-start the program, we’re offering free WeatherXM stations for deployments inside the marked Cell Bounty zones. On top of that, eligible stations can earn up to 10× rewards for an entire year, depending on how close the deployment is to the specified lines.
This is the highest boost we’ve ever offered — and it’s only available for this first wave of Cell Bounties.
🗺 Where Can You Deploy?
You can view all eligible zones directly inside the Explorer — and now also through our dedicated map:

- 🌐 Explorer: open our explorer and enable the “Cell Bounties” layer in the bottom-right corner
The marked lines show exactly where deployments are needed.
If your home, land, workplace, or another accessible location falls inside these zones, you can deploy immediately.
📌 How to Qualify for the Rewards
To be eligible for the free station and boosted rewards, your deployment must:
- 📍 Be inside the highlighted Cell Bounty areas
- 🗓 Be installed by 27 November
- 📈 Maintain a QoD score above 0.8, which grants you full daily boosted rewards
Once deployed, stations that meet the quality criteria automatically start earning boosted rewards based on their proximity to the marked lines.
